Henri Cartier-Bresson in Paris
Went to Paris last week to see Tuck and Patti play at New Morning Jazz Club. I had a couple of hours to kill so went to the Pompidou. Couldn’t believe it when I saw that there was an Henri Cartier-Bresson show on. Left me speechless. What a genius.
New Scarecrows
Found 2 more scarecrows today, near Egleton. They looked like soldiers falling in battle – like a Robert Capa picture. The first one’s head had been blown off by the wind and he looked like he was crawling over to it.
Photoshoot at Hambleton Hall
Spent the day at Hambleton Hall photographing Nic Collins pots, between rainstorms. The two massive dishes were fun to move around the grounds, much to the amusement of the guests of the hotel.
